We Can Help

Caring for a loved one with a serious illness is more difficult than you imagined. You are not alone. Call 716-338-0033 and let us help.

Caring for the Caregiver

Caregiving can be profoundly difficult and stressful. Is caregiving affecting your loving relationship? We not only care for the patient, we also care for the caregiver.

CHPC has many resources to make caregiving easier. Our clinical staff come to your home reducing trips to the doctor’s office. We have home health aids to help bathe and care for your loved one. Our volunteers can walk the dog or read to your loved one while you can run errands. We can even arrange short-term respite care if you are exhausted or need to travel.

We can teach you how to give a bed bath or reposition your loved one in their bed, even change the bed with your loved one in it. You’ll learn how to transfer your loved one from bed to chair, and vice versa. We can teach you how to manage difficult tasks so you know you are doing things right or not risking injury to yourself.

Too many families tell us, “We wish we’d called sooner,” or “I had no idea how much help you could be.” Call us sooner rather than later so your love is not lost to caregiving.
