Spring Gala Returns to CHPC with Carnival Theme

CHPC Staff prepare for the Carnival! From L to R: Mary Jo Bradish, Zach Agett, Karen Morse, Renee' Moulton, BJ Buonaiuto, Tennielle Zebrowski, Nancy Nelson

Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPC) invites the community to celebrate its 7th
Annual Gala, “Welcome to the Carnival!” An evening of fun, midway games, and prizes will take
place on Saturday, May 21 at Chautauqua Suites Meeting and Expo Center in Mayville.
This fundraising event has become a must-attend for many in the community. Proceeds from
the Gala allow CHPC to provide additional services and therapies that insurances do not cover.
As always, all guests are welcome to dress up for this circus-themed party.

The evening will begin at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm. Attendees will enjoy a beautifully
decorated hall with a Carnival theme and have the opportunity to ‘step right up’ and be
photographed for a lasting memento. Along with themed games guests will enjoy a silent
auction to explore before dinner. A delicious dinner and dessert will be served. Following dinner
a live auction will be held followed by dancing to music provided by Afterdark DJ Service. A
cash bar will be available for refreshments.

“This year’s Gala is more than a fun-filled night under the ‘Big Top’–it’s a return to having fun for
the sake of fun, seeing old friends, and getting out and cutting a rug on the dance floor!” said BJ
Buonaiuto, community events coordinator at CHPC. “So grab your top hat, your clown nose,
and let’s show everyone how much fun it can be when we’re all together!.”

Sponsors for the event include The Chautauqua Suites Meeting and Expo Center, Bliss Hill
Photography, B. E. Strong 716, Cummins Engine Plant, Francesca’s Floral Design, Afterdark DJ
