Testa comes to CHPC with more than 20 years of managerial and leadership experience in healthcare, business administration and education. He relocated to Chautauqua County from Billings, Montana where he worked at RiverStone Health for more than nine years, the last two serving as vice president of Home Care and Hospice Services. Testa earned a Bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Ashford University, and an MBA from Fitchburg State University.
Serving as medical director since 2010, Dr. Putnam leads the medical team to ensure all patients are receiving expert care throughout their illness and works closely with the patient’s primary care physician. He also is the only board-certified palliative care physician in Chautauqua County. Throughout Dr. Putnam’s medical tenure, he’s also worked in family practice. Dr. Putnam began his education at Houghton College and continued to Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He then completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and a fellowship in International Health in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Providing guidance to his patients during their final journey in life is a rewarding experience for Dr. Mitchell. He joined Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care in 2011. In addition to his work with hospice, he also serves as the Medical Director of Heritage Group. Dr. Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from Penn State before continuing on to receive his medical degree from the College of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in family medicine at Hamot Hospital and his fellowship in sports medicine at the Cleveland Clinic.
